The solo exhibitions titled "Faust" and "The Barbarism of Civilization and Don Quijote" consisting of the works exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by Prof. Dr Hakan DALOĞLU, Head of the Department of Painting, were opened by TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun AMCAOĞLU at the Near East University Hospital Exhibition Hall, while his solo exhibition titled "Theological and Political Capriccios" was opened by TRNC Minister of Internal Affairs Ziya ÖZTÜRKLER at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.

In addition, Prof. Dr. Hakan DALOĞLU was awarded the "Gold Medal Honor Award" by the Near East University Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.
