On November 6, 2023, the Head of Painting Department visited Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Dean Prof. Dr. Uğur TÜRKMEN in his office at Nedime Hanım Campus. The visit within the scope of the internal stakeholder meeting was organized by Prof. Hakan DALOĞLU, Head of the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Umut GERMEÇ and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ezgi YEMENİCİOĞLU NEGİR participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Uğur TÜRKMEN drew attention to the importance of aesthetic integrity to strengthen the relationship between art disciplines and expressed his wishes to carry out joint studies with the Department of Painting. The cooperation proposals were welcomed by the faculty members of the Department of Painting who attended the meeting, and it was stated that Nedime Hanım Campus has a suitable area for culture and arts activities and can respond to the need for space for activities within this scope. With the idea that Nedime Hanım Campus, which is located in the center of the city, will provide an ideal environment for activities that will integrate with the public, it was discussed to plan visual activities related to the art of painting together with the music discipline.

It was also discussed that the events to be organized by the Department of Painting will be included in the annual program prepared by the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts for the coming year. The meeting, which was very productive and created opportunities for cooperation in terms of interdisciplinary studies, ended with a tour of the venues that could be revised artistically and the evaluation of possible exhibition methods.
