Asst. Prof. Mert Yavaşca, participated in the "International Gallipoli Wars Symposium" held on April 26-27, 2024. In his study titled "Analysis of Gallipoli War Themed Paintings Produced in Şişli Painting Workshop" presented on April 26, 2024. He introduced the documentary paintings produced by important painters such as İbrahim Çallı, Namık İsmail, Hikmet Onat in Şişli Workshop simultaneously with the war with an in-depth analysis.
